I’m Camryn Sippy and I have been living in Durango for most of my life. I moved to Durango when I was three years old from Albuquerque, New Mexico and started riding bikes when I was five. In first grade, I enrolled in the first ever season of the Durango DEVO youth cycling program and immediately became hooked. In sixth grade I started racing my mountain bike in local races and in New Mexico. That year, I raced at my first Mountain Bike National Championships and won the 11-12 category. In the years following, I have raced in countless cross country races around the state and the country. During my freshman year of high school, I started participating in the Colorado High School League and placed first place overall in the Junior Varsity category. This past year I competed in the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic for the fifth year in a row and claimed the U18 road race victory for the second time. Aside from focusing on my racing, I am an assistant coach for the Durango DEVO program and have coached push bike, preschool, and kindergarten groups. I am looking forward to representing CRC Janitorial for a second season and am excited to see where racing takes me.
